Title: Problem with GTX 550 Ti
Post by: rHI on November 04, 2012, 12:35:38 am
I'm having problems with my new GTX 550 Ti 1GB. Basically I just had a computer built for myself and everything works fine but games. I've tried many games and the problem exists in all of them and the problem is that I can play normally for about 5 minutes and then the games just go black screen and stop for a few seconds repeatedly and finally crash. I did solve the problem by turning down the factory clocks using MSI Afterburner and it works fine but shouldn't I send the card back to warranty because I cannot reach the potential it has because it is a faulty release ?

I did temperature checks. All in normal and never above 60.

My specs are:
Intel i5 3470 - CPU
MSI H77MA-G43 - Mobo
Crucial Ballistix 2x4GB DDR3
GTX 550 Ti - GPU
OCZ Modxstream-Pro 600W - PSU
