Title: 770T headphones audio question
Post by: darivo on December 31, 2009, 09:23:28 am
Hi all

I have an 770T Mobo and all is OK

I have a 5.1 speaker system with on board audio, and front panel with HD audio

this works fine...... but i have a little problem and i hope you can help me

when i connect headphones on front panel, realtek software mute 5.1 speakers and only sound on my headphones (its OK), but my headphones are configured like 5.1 speaker system (my little problem)

Is there an option to change automatically 5.1 speakers to stereo when i connect headphones?
or do i have to change it manually in the software?

thanks a lot for your time!

Hi
On my setup when I plug in my headphones, the software detects them and asks me what options I want to set,
Just have to play around with the software,
cheers

i have standart system in 5.1 speakers, and when i plug headphones, realtek control panel mute backpanel and tur on headphones but speakers configuration continue 5.1,

and if i chose stereo mode, when i quit headphones, backpanel is working with stereo speakers configuration
