Title: Bios revision level...
Post by: sara56 on October 30, 2008, 10:25:09 am
Hi folks,

I have a GA-MA770-DS3 Rev 1.0 board, new and unused but not recently purchased. Is it possible to find the Bios revision level (from the board Serial Number perhaps) as there appears no obvious indication on either the board or the packaging.

Thanks...

Hi sara

the only method of finding BIOS version is to boot up the MB and find it on the first POST screen, as it is not marked on the MB or the packaging

Hi Andrew,

Hmm.. OK. Thanks.  Ebuyer have some Athlon 64 3000+ for £18ish - I'll get one of those, then maybe flash to the latest bios. I want to use a Phenom X4 9750 which, if I'm reading the CPU support table correctly, needs at least F4.
