Hi, i'm new here and i have a question about my motherboard.
Is a GA-880GM-USB3 (rev 1.x), I want know if can works with a DDR3 1600 Mhz RAM because in the spec page says:
Support for DDR3 1800 (OC)/1666/1333/1066 MHz memory modules (Note 2)
but NO says about 1600 Mhz RAM.
can work?
I want buy this RAM: Super Talent Chrome Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600Mhz, CL9
My PC:
- Motherboard: GA-880GM-USB3 (rev 1.x)
- CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055t
- HDD: 3 Seagate Barracuda SATA (500Gb, 1Tb,1.5Tb)
- RAM: Supertalent 4GB (2x 2GB) 1333 Mhz
- Case: Raidmax Quantum

It does handle 1600 chips and in 4 gigs each slot if you wanted. As for those chips they arent on the supported list but most ram i use isnt on the list yet has never given me a problem. Myself id use them if that is what you can get cheap there it is DDR3 and you board has DDR3 of about 27 diggerent kinds so should be a safe bet.
