Title: Motherboard probs

ok i have a GA-MA74GM-S2H  Running AMD 5400+  CPU what i need to know i dont have anything connected to it except power of course and its out of the case, now when i power it up it boots up to post no worries then after about 10 seconds it turns itself off why is this any ideas.

What is the rest of the configuration and the power supply used ?!

It can be :
-a power supply issue ,maybe it s defective even if new (seen this myself some years ago with a build)
-a thermal protection kicking in ,make sure the CPU cooler is properly installed.

ok done that tried a few different power supply and cpu is fine but still no luck

Rebuild the PC on a wooden/cardboard surface.
Use the minimum components to power it up.
