Title: OC and Easy Energy Saver
Post by: Klaymen on January 31, 2010, 08:16:31 pm
Hello,

I recently bought a Gigabyte AM2+ mobo. Now I have done some OC with it, but I notice that whenever I increase the CPU voltage, EES doesn´t scale the CPU voltage anymore. Overclocked, the "Dynamic voltage" meter stays still instead of moving like it does when using the BIOS normal(auto) voltage, and the CPU watt usage goes to 50-60w at its lowest, instead of 5-10w. Is this some kind of limitation of EES?

I would feel like I waste too much electricity OCing when I have the possibility to go as low as 5-10w when not OCed.

You could just try uninstalling the EES utility from add/remove programs in control panel.
