Title: Unable to activate BIOS options in 2D panels. X79-up4
Post by: c47man on May 08, 2013, 09:15:52 pm
I'm trying to adjust the DVID offset in my BIOS while overclocking my i7-3930K. The 3D BIOS works fine but is lacking many of the more subtle settings, including DVID voltage. I went into the advanced CPU voltage settings in the regular 2D BIOS and found the DVID setting underneath the Vcore setting, but I my mouse and keyboard won't activate it. In fact, the vast majority of the settings in the 2D BIOS screen for frequency and voltage are nonresponsive when trying to adjust them. They aren't greyed out, but they don't respond to input either. I can update my vcore, LLC, etc. in the 3D BIOS, and the values update in the 2D screens, but I am unable to adjust them directly. So... how do I change BIOS settings that only appear in the 2D sections? This is quite an odd problem. I am running the newest version of the BIOS as well. I also rolled back to the version my mobo shipped with, and there was no difference.

Must be an issue with that board as mine has always had the same issue some bios options only seem to be adjustable in 3d mode but once they have been adjusted initially then they can be adjusted in 2d mode its really a strange thing. Im running bios f3p but f2 had the same issue.
