I have a problem with my g31m-es2l motherboard. Recently (ca. a month), every time I unplug my PC from power socket the bios will always reset its date settings and only that, every other setting remains intact. At first I thought it may be because of an old motherboard battery, but changing it didn't solve the problem. What may be the cause of it

My bios version is BIOS v6.00PG (no updated) and mainboard revision is 2.0. I did change the battery once more to a new one and for now the problem doesn't occur. I will wait couple of days and see if it will reset again. Thanks for reply.

Try to clear the cmos and than go in and set it default settings. Then go back in reset everything and see what happens.
