Hi, I have the gigabyte hd7970 GV-R797OC-3GD
Its not the Ghz version but still uses the same code, bought it a few weeks before the Ghz version was released !!! dam
well, I have noticed a small ticking noise coming from the GPU and it turned out to be one of the fans, common problem I believe.
Now noise has disappeared and after further looking at the GPU I have noticed one fan runs slower to the other two fans. not in sync
Can I contact Gigabyte directly to process a RMA ?
I have e-mailed the retailer but no reply.
When a waterblock comes available and if I do decide to install it will it void my warranty ?
some manufacturers are ok with it and some not.
