Title: UK warranty questions:
Post by: b1k3rdude on February 12, 2010, 04:30:56 pm
Afternoon

Issue 1
As I just recently found out to my anger, Gbyte UK are now charging £10 just to look at my in-warranty gfx card - I wouldn't be so pissed if Gbyte were collecting the card. The cheapest I have found is std parcels w/insurance @ £12.

Issue 2
Do UK RMA's have a UK address, as there is no way in hell I am paying for the card to be shipped outside the UK.

Hi

1. If you want to avoid the charge then bring the product to the place of purchase - it was already discussed here:
http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,85.msg369.html#msg369

As usually the shop is providing warranty.

2. Sure it has. Contact details are here:
http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,85.msg378.html#msg378

UPDATE:

The charge discussed in point 1. does not apply anymore since 1-st of March 2010.
