Title: Lost Network Adaptor after updating Realtek Drivers and software
Post by: pete491 on November 14, 2013, 08:33:37 pm
Guys,

Today I downloaded the latest Realtek software so I could use the HD Audio Manager.  Everything installed OK but when I tried the internet I got an error.  I found out I was getting an Adaptor error.  I checked Device Manager and saw that I had lost my "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller".  Now the Device Manager shows " Ethernet Controller, Network controller, Universal Serial Bus Controller" with no drivers.

What a mess!  How could the update cased this?

I have a 990fx-ud3, Win7.  This is a two OS system, both Win7.  The other OS still works great so the problem must have been caused by the Raltek update.

Help!!

Thanks!!
