Title: No email reply for my RMA of my gigabyte UD3R X58 mobo.
Post by: dmxdex2020 on February 18, 2010, 04:05:57 pm
I have sent an email to gigabyte explaning my fault for my gigabyte UD3R. i have been waiting since monday for a reply and i still have not been replied too. On sunday i turned my pc on and it just did a loop. It turned on for few seconds and then turned off over and over. I i took the battery out for overnight and cleared the cmos. It worked and defaulted my settings. So i set it all back to how it was mainly stock settings with an OC of 3.2. so i rebooted. One problem it just loops over and over. so i had to take the battery out again. Even if i try move the base clock to 2.8 it loops. I have ran memtest on the memory getting 17 passes. i have tried my powersupply in my lodgers core i7 rig and that is fine. I think the board has gone faulty.

I have also read some disturbing things on gigabytes RMA service. They give motherboards back which are still faulty i hope this is not the case as i cannot afford to keep spending money on having it returned.

Hi

We do check this forum of course. Could you tell me when and to what email address this information has been sent? Then I will check internally.

Thanks :)

Sent it through here. http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/ServiceCenter.aspx

So if you check it why has it taken 5 days for my email to get responded too? im not happy with the service i was hoping to get the board shipped to you this week. I have read alot about motherboards being repaired and sent back faulty still. Do i hav to pay 10 pound to gigabyte when i send my mobo?

I saw all your questions by GGTS have been replied.
Was it really B-grade product bought from OC UK?
