Title: Gigabyte P55 UD4 motherboard lan port not working
Post by: Zahkyto on February 19, 2010, 12:37:20 pm
Hi i brought this board about two weeks ago. Ever since the lan port has been messing around (taking ages to pick up on internet or not picking up on internet at all) since yesterday through the lan port has stopped picking up on the internet full stop. It will analyze the connection and then say no ethernet cable is connected.Ive been through the BIOS settings and they seam correct. I know this is not a problem with the ethernet cable as i have tried the same cable in a laptop and a Playstation 3 and it has worked.  Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

I have the UD6. But I guess you have the 2 LAN ports too. Go into the BIOS and switch off the port you do not use. And switch off the Green LAN. Perhaps this helps.
