Title: 780 Ti OC -- Confused about clock speeds
Post by: digitalforce on December 11, 2013, 08:03:28 pm
So, I just got this item today:

GV-N78TOC-3GD

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125489

There are no specs on the Newegg site but I thought the core was set at 1020 and boost was 1085. When I actually measure in game, I am getting 1150 boost clock. That is more inline with the GHz version.

Any insight?

Yeah for the past few years at least, Nvidia cards boost beyond the actual specification, it's normal. :)

yeah I got the gigabyte 770 yesterday and my clock speed is 1241 mhz it's only suppose to be  1189mhz there's  quite a few people online with higher clock speeds. retailers should change or even say core speeds may vary or something because I thought my gpu had be tampered with lol
