Title: FX-8320 and Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 (rev. 3.0) problem
Post by: sirenkill on December 20, 2013, 04:41:45 pm
Hello there. i am trying to mild Overclock my System ..But i have wired Issue. i am not sure if this is normal. or any Bug So im asking...

Now the problem

I did not touch anything other then made Core Performance Boost" disable. then pressed F10 then Yes. Now i see the system turn Completely Off and after 1-3 sec turns back on.

same thing happens if i restart my system from Windows its goes to Shutdown mode meaning no light on my Cabinet then after few sec(2-3sec) Its starts...

But if i enable "Core Performance Boost" Everything is fine. no Cold shutdown. System restarts normally as it should...

So my Q is Is this Normal for this mobo to behave in such manner after Core Performance Boost" is disabled ?

If anyone using this board could help me .i would be really glad.

My mobo came with BIOS ver. FB even i flashed FCb BIOS but Same issue

I will chk with this setting and report back. BTW Just confirming with this setting ur not getting the few sec shutdown tht u experienced after resetting the bios and turning off the Boost ?
