Title: Gigabyte gtx 660 ti 2gb Problem
Post by: alejandrogr0012 on January 12, 2014, 10:04:35 pm
my problem is if my graphic card gigabyte nvidia gtx 660ti 2gb ddr5 is compatible with my motherboard or with my processor. because after putting them together , just shows up the bios setup frozen and then disappears and then I cant do anything else.

hopefully, when I dont use the new graphic card (or use my my old card) my pc works without any problem

After few days, I was surprised I could install drivers from default Cd (really I dont know how it worked). but when I restarted the pc , there was no video display as the beginning (i used HDMI cable). however, I went bios to put the Initiate Graphic Adapter to IGD (Integrated Graphics Display) by using VGA cable in order to visualize mi pc working again. So I went back bios to put the Initiate Graphic Adapter to PEG (PCI-Express Graphics device) but the same problem again.

Note: when the graphic card is pluged in, my pc doesnt recognize

I wish anybody could help me or give any idea

my pc:

Gigabyte geforce GTX 660 ti 2gb ddr5 OC to 1032MHZ
db75en intel
I7 3erd Gen 3770 B75
4gb Ram dd3
power supply cooler master Gx 750W

Have you got the latest BIOS installed for the motherboard?   If not I would update that.
