Title: New Build

As I await my new gaz87x ud5h to arrive, I have concerns about installing Win7 x64.  One this board, is this a true Uefi? If so, then will it only install on HD's that are GPT, or will MBR work also? I have seen post about others having issues getting Win7 installed, is this part of their problem?
 I have not put a new system together in a couple of years so I have some catching up to do. Thanks.
