Title: G1.Sniper M5 no HPET?
Post by: Semerkant on February 18, 2014, 07:48:34 am
I have looked  online at the Motherboard PDF-manual and could not find the option to enable or disable HPET.
Does Gigabyte no more support HPET?

To choose between "ACPI Timer" and "HPET Timer" was good. If I buy the MB I cant test which hardware timer causes more DPC latency, and make my own decision.

Why did gigabyte changed this with the new Motherboards?

I can't find the HPET setting in the BIOS. And no ACPI either   ???

- - I have a GA-Z87X-UD3H board ... Does this setting not exist for my board BIOS ?

The boards must have it enabled by default now as I only have it on my old 775skt G'byte board.
