Title: P25W - Does changing installed hardware invalidate the warranty?
Post by: d0mino on February 19, 2014, 06:07:05 am
I was wondering if I sold the mSATA SSD, the HDD, WiFi card and the RAM then put in my own SSD, WiFi & RAM, whether that would invalidate the warranty?

I was told by OCUK that the recovery partition for Win 8 needs to be there or it will be invalidated, so I assuming you can't get rid of the SSD..but I have just read here:

that you can do whatever you want but to leave the stickered CPU & GPU untouched. (I guess this means that you can't use your own thermal paste..)

Any confirmation on this would be much appreciated.
