Title: Gigabyte Brix GB-BXi3-4010 - automatically switching on ??
Post by: mas on February 19, 2014, 09:53:31 pm
hi,

I recently purchased GB-BXi3-4010 Brix, added 8gb crucial memory and 240gb SSD plus windows 7 home premium 64bit.    I have installed all latest drivers from website.

Whenever power off the unit, after a few seconds the unit automatically boots up.    I noticed there is a USB patch for windows 8 which stops this error but i cannot find a patch for windows 7.

Hope someone can help me?

thanks

Have you updated the BIOS?

You should have the BRIX plugged into a Surge Protector anyways to protect it, switch OFF the surge protector when you turn off the BRIX....

If there's no electricity available it won't be able to start itself.

In today's new computer environment you should be aware they have their own operating system on the motherboard/CPU within the BIOS and when they want....they turn these new computers on to do whatever they want.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Active_Management_Technology

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_vPro

Apple's built this new technology into their devices....it allll started in 2003 when Microsoft crawled in bed with a BIOS manufacturers to thwart the problem they had when that "Corporate" copy of Windows XP Pro got bootlegged and passed around the world like wildfire...causing Microsoft massive monetary losses. So they created this new capability to thwart that from ever happening again.

All post 2003 computer motherboards have this new secret capability. Remember when HP announced not long ago "out of the blue" they were going to get out of the PC business?? THEIR new secret motherboard capabilities....backfired on them when it was found out someone could easily "BRICK" the motherboards on all of HP's products. The US Congress decided to bail them out (save their rears) and created those 4 supercomputer complexes to prevent a simple code from being executed over the internet that would have disabled all of HP's products.

A big chunk of the money they needed for those complexes was pulled from various Federal Agencies...Veterans Affairs of the US Govt for example had to dish out a massive amount of their money to "donate" to those complexes.....and that's why we've been seeing all the news stories of all the US veterans dropping dead because they can't get in to see a doctor at US Veterans Affairs facilities.

Only a handful of people on the planet know the real story and that it was HP and Microsoft's fault for creating the new motherboard security flaw.....but what they did create has enabled a massive Intelligence and technological capability that otherwise never would have been created otherwise.

Unplug your pc when you ain't using it. You'll remove their ability to use your PC...when you ain't using it. These devices made now that you purchase....aint just for you to use anymore.

Start reading also about the "3PDS" memory chips in the BIOS. Intel now allows "3rd Party" folk to store data on a separate dedicated memory chip for the BIOS. Not sure if Intel "sells" access to that memory chips, or if they are allowing anyone to store data their about you:

https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2007/01/15/what-the-heck-is-3pds

Keep up with what they are putting into these new devices.....their capabilities are growing by the day,

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/Leak-Jetway-Test-Signing-BIOS,news-43400.html

The Source Code for the American Megatrends "Aptio" UEFI Bios that's also in the Gigabyte Brix was published on a website in Taiwan.

Bad guys around the world now can use the hidden powers inside the new Generation of "BIOS's"......to take control of pc's using that software in the motherboard chipset.

Now we know why these Brix computers are turning themselves on in the middle of the night, even running with the Blue LED off....

Thanks alot for creating these new "BIOS's" that now are compromised.
