Title: Gigabyte R9 280x showing artifacts.
Post by: Wadeu on March 09, 2014, 04:58:20 pm
I bought my new GPU just over 2 weeks ago now. And I first installed it and it was fine for around 3-4 days. However, I started to play BF4 and it showed little artifacts around the screen. But as this was my first build, and I'm not really knowledgeable about all PC components and stuff, I thought it was a driver issue. So I immediately updated my drivers and it seemed to be okay. However, it came back slowly but surely in BF4. Artifacts got worse to the point where if I was outside on levels, it looked like huge skyscrapers appeared out of no where.

I've also been playing Bioshock Infinite and it has happened a few times. Just booted it up now and these are a few screenshots I managed to get. http://imgur.com/EoFiyeq,OpNqV06,SEAHqeQ,JyV6HrR

I don't know if it's important to note but I bought it from Dabs.com so I don't know if I'm to contact them or Gigabyte. I've not sent anything back before so I'm really clueless on what to do.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Usually  you can RMA it from where you bought it for 30 days after that you would go thru gigabyte. I would email, call where you purchased it and ask their policy.
