Title: 4k resolution

please can anyone help me I have recently bought a Samsung 28 4k gaming monitor im running a 750 ti 2gb graphics card and can only run the res at max of 2560 x1440  I bought the latest 2.0 hdmi cable all I want to know is do I need two of them to get the full 4k resolution thanks for any help

I too have that monitor. the only way to get 4k out of it is to use the Display port connection. The HDMI won't work for full 4k res.
