Post by: BenOwns on July 16, 2014, 12:24:47 am
Hello all,

I read that my 990xa-ud3 works with 1866 ram.
So i purchased some  2 x 4gb sticks.
But i only have the option for x8 multiplier for 1600... what do i do?

To support a DDR3 1866 MHz (and above) memory, you must install an AMD AM3+ CPU first.
