Title: GA-A55M-DS2 not able to OC at all, HELP
Post by: eljorgep on November 02, 2014, 01:36:11 am
Hi you all, I own a GA-A55M-DS2 (rev 3) with a A6-3670K APU and 4 GBytes of DD3 Ram. The Bios options for Overclocking they all say Auto and don't allow for changing any OC configuration (all other options work fine). AMD specs for this particular APU say that it is UNLOCKED. The BIOS is supposed to be the latest with a FB version dated 03/19/2013. Can anyone help me figure this out please?

The first setting in the Motherboard Intelligent Tweaker Menu is:
BCLK/PCIe Clock Control
Allows you to manually set the CPU base clock and PCIe bus frequency in 1 MHz increments. (Default:
Auto)
Do you understand what, "Allows you to manually set something" means? You need to change the default AUTO setting.

You may also be interested in using the AMD Overdrive software to overclock instead of manually changing the BIOS settings.
