Title: do I have to/can I register a new motherboard for warranty?
Post by: autumn_sunset on December 11, 2014, 08:32:10 am
It's not a black edition, but a Z87X-UD4H. I looked all Gigabyte site for a place where I could register it but didnt find. Is it possible?

(I posted this on the FAQ section by mistake. please remove that thread).

Hi there,

no, you don't need to register with Gigabyte. If you find in the future that there is a problem with your hardware then Gigabyte will ask you for the serial number before you RMA the item to them, to make sure it is still within the warranty period which is taken from the date of manufacture, not the date of sale.
