Title: Marvell Sata Controller
Post by: Technical on February 10, 2015, 11:44:46 pm
Hi, just recently I had an error in the Windows action center that my hard disk controller has stopped working properly and a compatible driver isn't available for this version of Windows. My motherboard is GA-P55A-UD3 Rev.1 and I am pretty sure the error was on the Marvell Sata 6GB controller. The thing is I am not even using the 6GB ports, I am using the 3GB ports that have nothing to do with the Marvell ports. What would cause this to happen? Is it possible my Marvell controller is bad?

Thanks!

I would update the driver or disable them in the bios under Integrated Peripherals.

I think I was using the latest one but unless it wasn't exactly the right one or something. I did disable the Marvel ports but then I re-enabled them cause now it's bugging me and I want to figure it out lol. I just hope the motherboard isn't going.
