Title: Gigabyte 970A-D3P Linux NIC/USB issues
Post by: headpool182 on April 09, 2015, 02:17:46 pm
I've tried Debian, Mint, Arch and Bridge to no success. Essentially my issue is, I can't get a network connection. I was able to get Arch to recognize back panel USB ports, however with debian based distros, this is not the case. Does anyone have any experience getting this particular board?

Build: FX-6300, 16GB 1600MHz ADATA, R9 280, GIGABYTE 970A-D3P running F6F. I'd prefer to get this working with either Debian or Mint, but I'll take any distro.

in boot grub use this parameter: iommu=soft

with that all the usb ports worked normally with total speed and without problems including usb 3.0

if it's with an nvidia video card

in boot grub use this parameter: iommu=soft nomodeset
