Title: GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4) Via USB3 eXtensible ports disappear

After installing windows 10, the via usb3 eXtensible host shows in the device manager.  But after installing all my software,  they disappear and the usb3 ports stop working.  I have disconnected all the cable from the motherboard, reset bios, then reconnected everything.  And after reinstalling Windows 10 the same thing happens.  Anything I can do to remedy this?  Any help would be appreciated.

power off you box, wait 30s, and restart system..

Via usb should be back working fine until next time it happens. You have to live with that problem as long as you have this mobo. It's a design fault and there is no fix.

confirm this, shut down PC then start again and your via will appear.
