Title: Problem absence HT link multiplier in BIOS F3 (990FXA-UD3 rev.4)
Post by: Alex54 on September 21, 2015, 02:40:25 pm
Sorry guys but I'm going crazy.
I can not find entry in bios F3 which allows me to lower the multiplier HT link, I can only manually set the frequency.
Although CPUZ now I ht link to 2742mhz (211x21) = 4431mhz.
I looked in all the subsections advanced frequencies setting, finding nothing  :o

FOUND !!!
HT link frequency
2000 = 10 (200x10)
2200 = 11 (200x11)
2400 = 12 (200x12)
2600 = 13 (200x13)
etc.   ;D

Not being explicit, I thought that by selecting a value, this would remain fixed on that frequency, instead works as a multiplier, increases the FSB values HT are likely to go out of specification and easily exceeding 2800Mhz, making the system unstable or blocking it entirely.
