Title: GTX960 clock at 1342Mhz ?
Post by: lillys on September 30, 2015, 03:52:32 pm
Hi,

Is it normal that the GPU of my GTX960IXOC 2Gb is going to 1354Mhz while in a 3D game with Linux and 1392Mhz with Windows ?

on the link it says BASE: 1165 MHz / BOOST: 1228 MHz(1190/1253 MHz in OC Mode) ...
http://www.gigabyte.fr/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5369#sp

on desktop max is 1164Mhz, but as soon as i'm on fullscreen in a game, it goes way higher...

Thanks.

Its nothing wrong with that. The nominal speed is not all you can get if you got the right environment it goes up and beyond, witch is the case with your card. So donĀ“t worry be happy! :)
