Title: Sata port4 does not detect hdd attached to it.
Post by: sirbaili on October 23, 2015, 12:40:35 am
Hi there.
I have Gigabyte x99 - ud5 wifi motherboard.
I have about 8 HDDs hooked up to it. I am in Video editing.
Suddenly I noticed that System Did not recognize HDD attached to sata port 4.
I Already have a latest bios F10.
I checked everything.
Switched cables  - re-flashed BIOS - cleared cmos.
Nothing  - - when attaching perfectly working HDD to this particular  port  - it would not be recognized nor by Bios not by WIN OS. I have not have any M2. or esata installed on my system nor I have a Raid Setup.
I am clueless what to do next
If anyone has any suggestion before I RMA board- It would be much Appreciated.
I do have a backups server - but it's Already 5 Years old and really slow .
 Thanks In advance
