Title: GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 won't post. Code 67 or b7
Post by: stbbrat on February 26, 2016, 03:00:13 am
Installed my new board tonight, but upon trying to boot up the status LED gets to 67 (or b7) before the computer shuts down and starts over. I've re-seated the RAM multiple times, tried one at a time, ect but alas no change.

The RAM is G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Intel Z170 Platform / Intel X99 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-2400C15D-16GVR.

Help?

Have you tried changing the XMP profile settings in Bios ? I had to set mine to Profile 1 to work correctly.

Have you updated the Bios to the latest. F4 seems to work fine.
