Title: P35 paint wearing of
Post by: Wigelii on February 28, 2016, 10:15:33 am
The black paint on the palmrest of my 1 year old P35 is wearing of.
Infact it started after 7-8 months with 1 little white spot and now more and more and more little white spots appear.
I e-mailed Gigabyte support but they don't give an explanation. They just reply to contact the reseller.
The reseller doesn't give an answer to my questions either.

Is this a known problem? Is it difficult to replace this part myself? Can I buy it seperately?

Usually manufactures don't fix cosmetic things or don't care especially if the computer is working perfectly. Just do what I did on my p25 I just bought a 13x16 vinyl and put on my laptop and cut it to fit the top shell to prevent scratching or paint chipping from normal tear and wear. Now if you feeling risky you can paint your top there's alot of forums online with tutorials on how to paint your cover or laptop.
