Title: Gigabyte M8000X Laser Mouse Problem
Post by: NickTheConqueror on March 11, 2016, 12:06:18 pm
Hello, i've got this mouse and lately it has been giving me problems. Yesterday it had tracking problems and was very jittery until it stopped moving on the pad altogether but it would on my desktop, i had to press and hold the right button for it to auto-adjust itself into the surface (my pad) something that i never had to do before, also it continued to give me problems with the tracking (and still is) after the adjustment, and now in all surfaces.

I looked at the back of the mouse and saw that the laser sensor ( or the tiny cristall ball) is not quite into the centre of the hole but rather into the right side, could this be causing my problems?, that little ball is the laser sensor right?, can it move itself through use?, if i try to move it to the center of the hole with a pencil or something would i break it?

Thanks in advance!
