I filed a support request about this already but haven't heard anything. I was trying to remove the HDD on my BRIX and while trying to use the clear tab attached to the SATA connector the mounting broke. Then when trying to remove it using just my fingers I managed to tear the ribbon entirely.
Can someone please let me know how to source a replacement? The unit is unusable in its current state.
Thanks
Brian

Hi there,
are you in the UK or Ireland?
-
I'm living in Ireland but the devices were bought from IngramMicro in the UK. I travel between both if regularly.
-
I have sent you PM with some further information that may help move things a long for you.
-
Thanks, I got your PM.
I'll hold tough until Monday and see what happens, hopefully it should be a quick fix.

I got a respond from GB eSupport saying to return the entire unit. Considering the time & costs involved this is crazy.
I've re-opened the ticket and hopefully I can just order a replacement ribbon.

Just a quick update, GB eSupport was a complete waste of time and would put me off buying gigabyte again.
But the RMA Team in the UK were able to ship me a replacement cable once I paid for the postage. All working and back online now.
