Hello forum,
I have an X79-UD3 Rev 1.0 with F10 BIOS and I want to replace my Quadro 2000D with a GTX 970 for better timeline performance in Premiere Pro. From what I've seen on the forums, X79-UD3 + GTX 970 requires BIOS F16 or better. F16 appears to require the use of @BIOS instead of Q-Flash, which seems to be a broad concern among users.
Is anyone familiar with a GTX 970 make/model that works with F10? Can/should I use F20 instead (and can that be done using Q-Flash)?
Thanks in advance!

I have the same rev 1 board and a gigabyte 980 ti. I also do not trust @bios.. I used Eiflash to go from f11 to f16. I can now force enable pcie 3.0 with my 3930k and it is stable where f11 was not. I could be wrong but I think you have.no choice but to update the bios.
