I have just completed a nightmarish Windows7 install on the Z170N-GAMING 5 motherboard, and cant not figure out how to get the ethernet drivers installed.
I know there are drivers located at the WEBSITE (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5529&kw=GA-Z170N-Gaming%2051.0#dl) but there are no instructions on how to install them. I was hoping it would be simple, but it has proven not to be. I tried simply pointing Windows to various folders, but there are simply too many folders to navigate through.
Is there any documentation on installing drivers for Windows, particularly Ethernet Drivers?

Yes, windows 7 is a bear to install on skylake.
If you are able to download files from the machine, you are fine.
Otherwise, download them from another machine and copy them to a USB flash drive. The copy it to your machine.
The run the installer/setup program and you should be fine.
