I run an i5 6600 with stock Intel cooler, which I find ample, as I am not overclocking. Don't forget Intel design their coolers for the processor they are intended for, so in the main, the Intel fans are best. However if you want to over clock or your case is so bad it heats up too fast, then the problem is not with your CPU cooler. The best way for extreme heat is a liquid cooled system.
Look at the  Raijintek Triton 240mm AIO Water Cooling Solution, for price it is quite decent and cheaper than many direct air cooled heatsinks.

My i7 6700k didn't come with a cooling fan. I use a Corsair H110 280mm AIO cooler. It is very quiet and very efficient.

If you have a rear 120/140mm fan placement have a look at AIO coolers. Unless your set on air cooling.
