How Fan Stop light works and when it does not?
I was trying to find out if I could reliably use the light to know that the fan if powered off,
but the fan seems to move (> 1000 rpm) even if the LED is light.
Otherwise, I would need to measure the voltage directly from the wires and I would like to avoid that.
So, has someone found a specs or similar that defines when the light is lit and with what color and how it is supposed to function or to program it.
Only page that I was able to find didn't help me at all. Mainly because I recognized the words, but not whole a lot what they meant with them. http://www.gigabyte.fi/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=3277

If you are over clocking your card, it's temps should be periodically monitored to ensure the fan profile or settings you are using work to adequately cool or keep the GPU within safe heat range.
A 3rd party utility may or may not work properly with the card. Watch it closely until you are confident temps are being controlled.
When the light is on, the fan is not spinning, when its off, the fan is rotating.
