Title: X-PLANE 11 and PC crashes with the GPU GTX 980 6GB G1 due overvoltage
Post by: ECALR on January 04, 2017, 03:46:18 pm
Hello, I just run a PC ASSUS Z87A with intel i7 4771@3,5GHz 16GB RAM SSD disk and GPU GIGABYTE GTX980 6GB G1. Driver 376.33. W10.
From several months I play with X-PLANE 10 with a certain limitations of rendereing but runs. Some days ago Laminar launch X-PLANE 11 and I start to play with the new version.

My surprise is that GPU produce a crash of system by overvoltage that it doesn't ocurrs when do a Stress test with MSI Kombustor v3.5.0.4. and of course with X-Plane 10.

The system is down totaly and restart with the message about overvoltage.  Does anybody a suggestion to manage this issue.

From several months I play with X-PLANE 10 with a certain limitations of rendereing but runs. Some days ago Laminar launch X-PLANE 11 and I start to play with the new version. Now, other games -Xplane10, EuroTruck Sim- produce the same issue: GPU produce a crash of system by overvoltage that it doesn't ocurrs when do a Stress test with MSI Kombustor v3.5.0.4.

The system is down totaly and restart with the message about overvoltage.  Does anybody a suggestion to manage this issue.
