Hello everybody,
I wanted to ask if there is someone here who owns the Booktop M1305. It is one of the best notebooks I've ever held in my hands.
But I have a problem with the Smart Manager. Gigabyte offers the Smart Manager only as a 32bit version, and this version causes an error in Windows 7 64bit (screen attached). Does anyone have a solution for this?
I would also like to know if I can install a newer driver for the Geforce 220GT directly from NVidia? Or does Gigabyte use a "special docking station-driver"?
Thx 4 reading - hope someone can help me.
Sry 4 my bad Englisch ;)

Okay, had some time to check, I searched on the Gigabyte Website and it seems like Win7 64-bit software is available to download !
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Notebook/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=3233&ver=
Then look for the [ Docking Driver Utility ] section
let us know if this works or not.

I already got a reply vom Gigabyte-Support after I wrote them on their Homepage. Support told me to use the SmartManager and Dock Gadget from M1405-Downloadsection which works fine and looks even better.
As far as your suggestion goes, there is still no 64bit Dock Gadget listed in M1305-Docking Driver Utility-Section and there is also no 64bit SmartManager listed in M1305-Utility-Section.
The only 64bit stuff in M1305-Docking Driver Utility-Section are graphic and network drivers but these were never missed.
However, M1405-SmartManager works fine unter Win7 x64 but thanks for your support.

Hi Neomis,
Excellent, so you can use the M1405 Win7 64-bit drivers on the M1305.
Thx for letting us know
