Title: GA-B150M-HD3 with a BGT3600 TV card and the TV picture is pixilating
Post by: Roynie on February 27, 2017, 07:20:36 pm
Hi,

I have a GA-B150M-HD3 with 16Gb Hyperfury RAM and a Saphire ATI Radeon HD5450 650 Mhz 1Gb DDR3 Graphics card. I use it as a media PC and have a Blackgold BGT3600 TV card. The TV card worked OK with my previous Mb which became useless after a BIOS update failed.

I installed the current Mb and the TV card, but the TV signal pixilates badly. I have updated to the latest drivers but it didn't make a difference. I can watch DVDs, music videos and stuff on YouTube without a problem, it's just the TV card signal that is the problem.

Is there a known conflict with BGT cards or TV cards in general, or can someone suggest a fix?

Thanks

EDIT: I have had the Antenna and satellite signals checked and they are not a problem.

If you are using a cable in and out make sure everything is good and tight. On the other board how did you have the card installed in the small slot PCIEX1 or in the a PCIEX16 slot?

It was in the smaller PCIEX1 slot. I have removed the Wifi card and put the router close by and connected it to the PC by cable so there is no interference from that. The only other card is the graphics card and both are firmly in place.
