Title: gigabyte 990x sli mobo -- no audio
Post by: mlo519 on March 27, 2017, 08:39:00 pm
Hi everyone, I just completed my first PC build with a 990x gaming sli mobo. When I plug headphones into the tower, I only get audio through the right ear, and I can only get full audio through plugging in headphones through my monitor. I went to the gigabyte support and tried to download the audio drivers, but I got an error message saying, "No driver was supported in this driver package."

I'm on Windows 10 home 64-bit, if that helps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Installed the latest realtek audio driver?

Sounds like a contact/cable problem with the tower audio socket - sometimes those plugs needs some xtra push to click in place.
