Title: ga-x99-ud4 boot once in several attempts
Post by: kotmorderca on April 29, 2017, 06:36:42 pm
Hello,
To boot my computer I need to switch on it for several times. Sometimes its 5 times and sometimes its 50 times.
All fans are powered on(as always there are start with full speed and after about 2 seconds there are switched to normal low speed), disk drives are powered on(i can hear it and hdd led is blinking from time to time), keyboard and mouse won't turn lights on and i can see no video on monitors.
What could be cause of this behaviour?
Thanks

Enable the "Full Screen Logo" option in the BIOS.

I have this problem also. In addition to trying to boot 5 or 6 times, I then have to wait 2 or 3 minutes before the machine boots. I have the full screen logo enabled but that doesn't do anything.

Greetings,
Disconnect power to the board and perform a CLR_CMOS.  After restart enter BIOS and ONLY make the necessary changes for the machine to start (BOOT Order).  Nothing else.  Result?

"Me too" posts on someone elses thread can make it difficult to help or troubleshoot due to variations in hardware configuration, OS, board and BIOS rev (if applicable)
