Title: GB-BXBT-2807 no vga after bios update to latest F8
Post by: mrg9999 on May 17, 2017, 12:53:10 pm
I had a strange (although reproducible) problem with GB-BXBT-2807  PC.  Some SSDs will not boot from the boot sector with Bios less the F8. They can be booted from say a USB key.  All hard disks seems to boot OK. I updated some to F8 and they all boot from SSD. Only problem is there is no output on the VGA, only HDMI interface. There does no appear to be an option to select VGA first in the BIOS.

I suspect that the VGA is offering up a strange resolution/refresh that our monitors can't accept.

Has anyone else seen this, or know a fix?

We've "fixed" with a $10 HDMI to vga adapter.
