Title: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660-TI noise at 640x480 16:9 and 4:3
Post by: dangkhoa on September 27, 2017, 05:17:54 pm
Recently I purchased a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660-TI graphics card. card (http://genk.vn) card (http://genk.vn) card (http://genk.vn)

Whenever I run a full-screen game (a very old one tbh) at 640x480 resolution using 16:9 setting or 4:3 settings on my monitor, the graphics card makes a buzzing/zooming sound/noise.

Do you have any idea why or how this is caused and how to solve it?

I have to note that with my normal resultion at 1920x1080 16:9 doesn't make this sound at all.

Besides the buzzing/zooming sound, I also can't seem to get the screen to display correctly, it makes 2 large black borders left and right and squises the game horizontally (or stratches it vertically), none of my manual monitor settings help, and I can't seem to find any settings in the NVidia Control Panel related to this either, but perhaps this is rather a question for the NVidia forums itself
