Title: Ga-ax370 gaming 5 won’t go past 2b
Post by: FamousRaptor on October 02, 2017, 11:10:49 pm
Hi all,

I just recently bought an upgrade of my old intel i5. I chose to upgrade to Ryzen. I bought the ga-ax370 gaming 5 with a 1700 and 16gb 3200 ripjaws. The only problem is that it won’t boot. After pressing the power button everything starts initializing. Then after a second the leds go on and the motherboard dies. Last debug led code I see is 2b. This should be initializing memory. The ripjaws is suppos d to Ben on the compatible memory list. I tried different combinations of slotting. I can’t seem to get past the 2b. Does anyone have a solution for my dilemma?

Get away from gigabyte boards they are full of issues, I will be sending my second gigabyte board back and going with Asus or msi. Go on YouTube and do a search for you board
Good luck
