Title: Motherboard not turning on
Post by: DouYoon CHoi on November 01, 2017, 06:14:34 pm
I recently bought a GA-AB350 Gaming 3 motherboard and I connected everything. Then I plugged in the power cable from the PSU to the motherboard, but no lights came on, only the RAM lit up. I tried to check if it was my PSU's problem, so I checked it by using the paper clip method, and it works fine. So I plugged everything in except the 24 pin connector and put in a paper clip, and my case fans started to spin. So then I tried connecting it to the MOBO again, but it didn't respond. Any ideas why and how I can solve the problem?

Hi,

Without more information about the components you are using, it is very hard to offer practical advice.

As a guess, I would think you have installed a newer CPU/APU that needs a BIOS update to be recognised.
