Title: GA-790XTA-UD4 CPU fan current
Post by: alforan on June 07, 2010, 10:09:39 am
Hi,

what is the current the GA-790XTA-UD4 fan header is able to supply?

I should like to connect two Scythe Slip Stream PWM, which are rated as 180 mA of nominal current each.

I have no idea what the header can cope with on that board, I can this however, I use a LOT of Scythe fans, S-FLEX, Slipstream, Gentle Typhoon and Ultra Kaze and have never ever come across a header that couldn't handle these puppies :)

Oh btw Sir I applaud your choice of quality fans hehe.
