Title: Gigabyte X58-UD3R rma question
Post by: deltaspirit on June 17, 2010, 11:42:51 pm
Hey, I have a Gigabyte X58-UD3R and when the cpu sits inside the cpu is almost flush with the socket and causes bad temps. My cooler is the stock cooler so it is very light and not the problem. If I wanted to RMA what motherboard would I get back ? since the Gigabyte X58-UD3R is discontinued.

Hi

When serviced directly in GIGABYTE RMA center then first of all MB is being tested then repaired. If it can't be repaired then it's swapped. But in the vast majority it can be repaired of course :)

When RMA claim is made to the place of purchase, then it depends. Some shops maybe swap immediately.
